There’s no shortage of financial advisers in the UK, and we’d be the first to say that most of them are good at what they do. So when people ask what makes Hanbury Financial Planning different, we tend to keep the answer short.
We’d rather you understand the recommendation than be impressed by it. No jargon, no acronyms, no spreadsheets you’ll never open again.
You’ll have a lead adviser who knows your story. Behind them, the whole practice — paraplanners, support staff, specialists — making sure nothing slips.
Sometimes the right answer is “don’t do anything yet” — and we’ll tell you when it is. Other advisers earn when you transact. We don’t work that way.
The average UK adviser is in their late 40s, and around one in five plan to retire in the next few years (FCA 2025 Adviser Survey). Our team is younger than that — by design. The financial decisions that matter most tend to play out over decades, and we plan to be here for all of them, not just the next few.
